Tank level measurement applications

Overfilling protection

When fitting vibrating level switches we warn operators with a Hi-alarm (95% tank filling) or HiHi-alarm (98%) tank filling. These are SIL contacts that automatically close the intake valve for overfilling prevention. The tank radar is also used to send Low or LowLow alarms when the product level falls too low. Then the discharge valves are closed to prevent the pumps from being sucked dry.

OverfillPrevention

Stock control

Total, exact and real-time stock determination is the number one priority of operators at a tank terminal. The whole operation sinks or swims based on this information.

Metrological approval

Subject to being provided with a number of seals, our radars can also be used as custody transfer measuring instruments. Then boats can be loaded and invoiced from the tank. Our radars have the correct certificates to be able to put them on the market.
